About Tender Heart NGO
Tender Heart NGO: Empowering Lives through Education and Employment
Established in 1995 by Ms. Renu Bali, a former lecturer at Delhi University, Tender Heart NGO has dedicated itself to uplifting people out of poverty through the transformative power of education. Ms. Bali's guiding principle is, "Educating one person creates a ripple effect, as they will go on to educate others. This chain of knowledge empowers entire community, paving the way for people to break free from the cycle of poverty. By investing in education, we not only uplift individuals but also lay the foundation for a more equitable and prosperous society." This belief has been the cornerstone of Tender Heart's inspiring journey from its modest beginnings to its impactful present.
Ms. Bali began her mission by teaching basic subjects to two children of a local milkman. Today, Tender Heart has grown into a thriving NGO that not only educates school-going students up to class 5 but also supports special needs, children who are intellectually challenged, underprivileged kids who are school dropouts or receiving inadequate education, and women.

Women empowerment is a core objective of Tender Heart. To date, the NGO has employed over 500 women and has equipped many young girls with skills to become self-sustainable. To support this mission, Tender Heart has launched two sub-brands:
- Zena: Offers cost-effective, high-quality oxy-biodegradable pads.
- Zoonie: Sells products such as kurtas, pajamas, dresses made with pure cotton, macrame, crochet toys, bedsheets, and more.
