WOOPIE programme

WOOPIE Programme-
Tender Heart NGO opened an after school program called WOOPIE (Way Out Of Poverty Is Education). This program focuses on schooling for ghetto children.
 
The target population of this project are those children who are devoid of education. and enable them to achieve a certain level of literacy through fun learning exercises, after which they are shifted to the morning school.  It is free to come and those who show up are taught all the basics in Mathematics; English speaking, writing & reading; art & craft; yoga etc.
 
It is awesome to perceive the number of kids that show up deliberately for these classes, and to perceive how energetic they are tied in with realizing everything that they can achieve.
